Vision statement

VI'SION STATEMENT a written statement of our meaning & purpose

Who we are

2 Corinthians 5:16-21 shows us that Christ sets an example for us by reconciling us with God. We are called to be messengers representing the King of heaven with the gospel; pleading with the world to be reconciled as well with God who is their rightful King.

“Therefore, we are ambassadors for Christ, God making his appeal through us. We implore you on behalf of Christ, be reconciled to God. For our sake he made him to be sin who knew no sin, so that in him we might become the righteousness of God.” - 2 Corinthians 5:20-21

The role of the church is this call both corporately and personally; called as a representative of Christ the King, calling the world to faith and obedience in his name.

Why reformed

To some the term of reformed may be a vague concept but it simply means “back to the original form”. When first used the church was seen by reformers like John Calvin, Martin Luther or John Knox  as being de-formed by moving away from the Word of God. The very essence of being reformed is to be allow our thinking, living and worshiping to be reshaped by the Word of God, according to the Word of God.
